Miłosz Sowiński took 29th position in the PRO category on the World Championships IRONMAN 70.30 in Australian Sunshine Coast. He is the first Pole in history, who was qualified to this competition in PRO category (professionals).
IRONMAN was won by the representative of the hosts, an Australian, Tim Reed, overtaking a German, Sebestian Kienle by 2 seconds! The third position was fought by a Swiss, Reudi Wild.

Triathlon, that consist of 1900 m in water, 90 km on a bike and 21,1 km of run, was covered by Miłosz Sowiński in 04:06:41. Swimming took him 24 min. and 5 sec., the distance on the bike was covered in 2 hours 16 min. and 19 sec. and half-marathon distance was ended after 1 hour 21 minutes and 37 seconds.

Ironman World Championships 70.3 is a part of a weekly festival, which covers annual competition Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast as well as a range of events for the triathlon community. In this year’s edition, 75 professional triathlonists and around 3000 amateurs took part in the event.
